On 13 April, a special evening at the Planetarium dedicated to the observation of the most beautiful planet in the Solar System.
Please note: due to forecast adverse weather conditions "Saturn, the jewel of the sky" has been cancelled and postponed to a later date.

On Friday April 13, from 9.00 pm to 12.00 am (midnight), the Planetarium of Rome will host the event "Saturn, the jewel of the sky", a space gala event in which the telescopes of the Astronomy Museum in Piazza Agnelli will be pointed toward the most elegant planet of the Solar System. At the same time, two astronomical shows will be shown under the dome of the planetarium at 9.00 pm and 10.30 pm: "Among the rings of Saturn" by Stefano Giovanardi.
The observations are free of charge, but may be cancelled for bad weather, the shows under the dome are with fee and booking is recommended: tel. +39 060608.
“Saturn, the jewel of the sky” is an event conceived and organized by Gabriele Catanzaro, Giangiacomo Gandolfi, Stefano Giovanardi, Gianluca Masi and Vincenzo Vomero, scientific staff of the Planetarium of Roma Capitale.
