A show in the framework of the "Musei in Musica 2010" Festival: Cosmiel and La Musica dei Pianeti - Danza, musica e teatro all’improvviso al tempo di Athanasius Kircher.
Ten dancers, musicians, actors in a touring performance and a multi-sensory journey.
Guided by the angel Cosmiel, a sort of Virgil of the waning Ptolemaic system, the visitors are taken on a dreamlike journey through planets and fixed stars, following the dream of a great Baroque scientist-magician. Indeed, this peculiar journey was envisioned by Athanasius Kircher, a famous German Jesuit scholar who in his "Itinerarium Exstaticum”.

The three stages of this travelling show are held in the Planetarium and the Museum of Astronomy.
